Hi, I'm George. I'm a pre-service teacher, though I have taught before. My first teaching position was in Bangkok Thailand where I served for a year as a full-time kindergarten and health teacher at a bilingual school. After returning to the United States I enrolled in the University of Richmond’s Elementary Education program. I have been a substitute teacher in Hampton City and Chesterfield County and gave been an after school tutor and volunteer with several organizations including Project LEAP (Language Equity and Academic Performance) which focuses on helping ESL students prepare for SOL testing. I have an undergraduate degree from Christopher Newport University in Political Science and my hobbies include running, swimming and hiking.
